The inspection package costs €17 more at the station than when booked online.
The vehicle's power source and details determine whether an emissions test is required. The package limit of under 3,500 kg differs from the basic inspection price class of up to and including 3,500 kg.

How long does an inspection take?
If you have booked an appointment and arrive on time, a periodic inspection for a car or van takes about 15–20 minutes. We cannot guarantee the duration of a drive-in visit. The time needed for heavy vehicles and specialist services is agreed separately.
What makes up the total price for heavy vehicles?
Periodic inspection costs €70 for motor vehicles with a gross weight of 3,501–7,500 kg and €100 above 7,500 kg. A required emissions test costs €36. Air-brake measurement is priced by axle count. Trailer inspection, VAK/ADR and other special services are agreed separately.

What does the starting price for modification inspection mean?
The starting price is the base price. The final price depends on the extent of the modification and required documentation. Tell the station about the changes before arranging a time to get an estimate for your vehicle.
What about reading vehicle consumption data?
Reading OBFCM fuel consumption data costs from €15. Reading consumption data is separate from an emissions test. Check the total price for your vehicle before confirming your booking.

Payment, rescheduling and cancellation
Manage booking changes through the link in your booking confirmation. If you need help, contact the station you booked.
How is the booking paid?
Bookings are paid in advance according to the booking instructions. Approved business customers may use separately agreed invoicing. Check the service, station, time and total price before confirming.
How do I reschedule?
Open the management link in your booking confirmation and check the rescheduling terms shown there. If rescheduling does not work or the link has expired, contact the booked station. Provide the booking number, registration number, current appointment and preferred new time.
How do I cancel?
Reschedule or cancel through the link in your booking confirmation or by contacting the station where you booked.
Give your booking number or vehicle registration number and your appointment time. If rescheduling, also give your preferred new time.
You can cancel your inspection appointment free of charge at least 24 hours before the scheduled time.

The cancellation fee must be reasonable in relation to the loss caused. The full fee will be reduced where necessary. Consumers retain their statutory rights.
A service contract made online generally includes a 14-day right of withdrawal. If you exercise this right before the service begins, cancellation is free and your payment will be refunded within 14 days of your notice.
What if I am late?
If you are running late, call the station where you booked as soon as possible. The station will tell you whether the inspection can still take place at the booked time.
When is a cancelled booking refunded?
Your advance payment will be refunded if cancellation is free. Otherwise, the cancellation fee will be deducted from the refund.

Which services can I book online?
Online booking is available for periodic inspections of passenger cars and vans up to 3,500 kg gross weight and light quadricycles. Other vehicles and special inspections are booked directly with the station by phone or email.
